DREAM 8-5-99
burnt tree/ forest torn apart
work- live in work through closet climb
they wonder how we even get up there
scandal- i run out door down main street
galloping, i past her, continue running
jump car with ease, enter
industrial park, feel suspicious, lie down
on bench looking around paranoid, explosion up
on a hill, fire, climb through woods
the other way, play game with them,
the woods are not burned, large hill, we try
and make marks on our backs, returning game,
i make my friend a burn on his back, i
suddenly feel very guilty, i end the game and
we all walk up the hill. turns into building
with escalators, i race to beatr both of them back
(3 escalators) top - return to apartment
tell story; people gather, evilness pursues, i
hold/comfort girl, across from me-
two assholes, i know them, atleast their
names. i smile and tell them what they are
they look at me in disbelief and shock
the large meeting (which was on a floor)
adjourns. i find myself having run from the state
and a crazy mother. in my car i jump in while it is
parked and drive off while no one is looking
on the road, the mother is right beside me, damn it
she has a pen and paper(which later becomes plastic) she
gets my plate number, i grab her "notes" and
the chase carries on into aisles of a store
we talk. i tell her that i am innocent
she doesn't care. i run into agents, run
past out door, throw out my info, cornered
on top of a truck. guarded. night falls.
snipers take out the guards, i am free

DREAM 08-08-99
corvette inside double door church
"you never know"; must hide out
party, house wreck, roach - dead in bathroom
big roach upside down
looking for rope swing drive way too far
low cycle on road keep the 17 cents at the toll
buy out cleaning your house, i was washing
trying to forget about the roach
christ, don't slip me a pc toothpick
non-stop film project, a girl "misses me"
we had a class together that didn't exist
my teacher doesn't remember my name
watching bombing out window; bomb slowly
moves over our building, tall skyscraper
panic, everyone runs down flights of stairs
i think of my creations, engulfed by flames
i see my images of love, family, dove, cross;
move fast toward sun; end of simpsons episode (no)
golfing again-you too? halloween looking for a doll,
they are cleaned out, early on the 31st.

comparison distorts reality
pseudo experiences-shadow of real
people analyzed consciously or unconsciously
mannerisms, appearance, compared to memories; past
instant value judgement, bias all future experiences
no reality, just comparisons that shouldn't exist
new people not experienced
must release bias keeping us from reality
positive like attracts like-create positive environment
negative attracts negative thoughts and pessimism flourish
mind points the way-reality follows
dream control- energy (exercise, rest, nutrition, calm mind)
mental purpose and follow through- purposeful effort
trigger mechanism programming-spirit, essence of life
transcendental consciousness (euphoric)

shoplifting aluminum cooking trays with 90, bought last week
guarded by 7-1 man, interogated by yacky; alarm
what are you about? 7-1?
arrested and given court date on the spot
up bike trail hill, trees and darkness
end of road-left or right? tired
fear-turn around and go back-no end in sight
go off course and onto gold course downhill
blackness up hill, see corner of course, bike path
bear appears, pain, run into house many doors-fast
bear chases, doors closed, bear persists
final door to outside, deadbolt slows bear down
on water outside run to road-go into restaurant
up stairs-elegant "seating for, call 911"

with directions on a bank transaction
stop signs brake me every three feet
45 and fox are in the clouds
i walk through the door and talk to a desk woman
she points and says left and right

a room with a floating white center
cut strands of hair dancing in blank space
i eat air and drink carbonation
a facade in a simple building of stone
i walk out having nothing done

skiing in red white and blue
connecting dots with points in the sky
i flew above the roof with a broom
into einstein's lab to show him life
flew to talk to grandma, showed her a miracle
she gave me a pizza and turned around
to only return again with wings
and the bar was a museum of milkshakes
eyes fixated on past objects

broken down world? how we let things get the better of us
clearly there is an undenaible better and worse
news flash on the web, tomorrows ? will be delayed
mister t, among others, became an unanswerable flab
she had to wear a ring of prison around her
wrist because of her parents. the police and father
shot rocket launchers back and forth
the story the first time he was shot, second time
he escaped to the door through water of laughing and crying man
Dylan carried his mother to the white valley of freedom
as the three fugitives strolled by

we walked through the door
they invited me into the house where i wasn't sure
if i was dreaming or not. i told them i might be dreaming
i told them you might not be here, the world isn't what
it seems at this second
in my dream i can picture my couch.. touching my skin
lying here the couch feels, i am suspended
they cleary do not understand, the dream outside is a ranch
with cowboy shows escaping from the cities mayhem, up on a hill
a boardwalk in the midst, it doesn't seem proper, but the party
is here and the food is being served, eaten amongst the dust

the beach and the sun burnt me to the red rain
looking for a place to cross the water, bees ate the ground away
the snow led me across the river in a rowboat
i was taken up five floors to the court of unknown language
with a letter that told them to fly me home-- had to write a latin paper

class of misconceptions gave me minus five for missing
directions on a first day map quiz
ok in the ok coral, art laboratories kept mutating
collective objects miscaled to make you think "pretention"
walk around each object in three dimensional space
watching others walk around the same objects
with the same thoughts you don't understand
there was never anything logical from the beginning
artist intent: intimidation
water levels in the marsh contain imaginative super-structures
that make me fall in love again and again

DREAM-11-17-01
They turned the movie theatre in the industrial part of town
into a hazardous, multi-level, underground shopping mall, poorly lit
squeezing through the car wash escalator waiting to inflate
the bar room was crowded with voyeurs of ideas,
she pointed to the moralistic city scape, down from the clouds
said the art world was there, but I knew it was a model
just beyond the window, quite reachable
the staircase in the bar led me to where the toys made more sense

the bar closed so the children went home,
foaming at the mouth driving around,
things weren't always this crazy, time advanced, space shuttles launched
I watched myself bored, someone yelled
the shuttle was off to a bad start,
after spinning in circles, landing on the launchers, falling like marionettes
the world cried, terrorists rose up from the land,
and through the shopping mall's t-shirt store, everything read different
at the winter olympics, you were pushed down the hill,
hidding behind the door matresses, they shot poison arrows
as the shuttle launch smoked in the distant sun
